MY SWEET STORY

I can remember my mom making popcorn in her kitchen by using a regular pot and lid. She would stand there sliding the pot back-and-forth until the last kernel popped. It would usually take about 10 minutes, only for her to have to turn around and make more. Yes, it was a manual procedure! In this day and time that's a long time for just 1 small batch! There were no microwaves back then and no other way to pop it any faster. After having my own family, I started popping kettle corn at home. It quickly became a family favorite, and I also gave it away as gifts to friends & family. The simple truth of the matter, popping corn for others brings me joy! Imagine making people happy with just a (delicious) bag of popcorn! Not only that, I've discovered there are very few (if any) unhappy people at festivals! Between the wonderful fellowship and being outdoors enjoying God's creation, it's a win/win! My company is small (but growing) Praise the Lord! We started with the stovetop to an 80-quart popper to now a160-quart! And we have added the most delicious and mouthwatering roasted/glazed nuts... on the planet! I started my company to bring me JOY. But I also did it for my boys (now adults), Zach and Jesse to have something to fall back on if they ever want to join in on the fun.
So far it has been a blast and I give God all the glory!
